Concrete usefulness
Each product meets a specific need: getting dictation right, walking more, making better use of one's wardrobe. We judge a product by the effect it has on its users' lives.
Auxeso Labs designs, publishes and operates consumer apps in three areas: learning French, physical activity and wardrobe management. Each app has to bring its users a concrete benefit, and the data they entrust to us is used only to run the service.
The studio
The studio designs its products, launches them and maintains them over time. We alone are accountable for them to users, parents and regulators.

Each product meets a specific need: getting dictation right, walking more, making better use of one's wardrobe. We judge a product by the effect it has on its users' lives.
02
Explicit consent, data collection limited to what is necessary, hosting in France, and no mechanics designed to keep users hooked against their interest. These rules are written into the specifications before development starts.
03
We look first at what users have learned or achieved with the app. If usage time goes up without matching progress, we try to understand why.
Products
Our apps cover education, physical activity and fashion. Auxeso Labs designs, publishes and operates them, and each has its own support channel.

Education
AvailableWeb; iOS and Android in beta
The French primary-school curriculum for ages 7 to 11, as a role-playing game.
Children progress through six worlds by completing spelling, grammar and conjugation exercises, for about fifteen minutes a day. Their companion evolves with their results. Parents follow their progress and stay in control of the account.

Physical activity
AvailableiOS; Android in early access
Daily walking becomes a territory game with three factions.
Real steps, read from Apple Health or Health Connect, turn into in-game energy. Players join one of three factions and compete for hexagonal territories on the map of their neighbourhood, in twelve-hour battles. Only steps actually taken count.

Fashion
Closed testingInvitation only
A digital wardrobe to make better use of the clothes you already own.
Users photograph their clothes; the app recognises category, colours, materials and style, then puts together outfits for the occasion. The aim is to help people wear more of what they already own.
Commitments
These commitments apply to every app the studio publishes and guide our day-to-day decisions.
User data is hosted by OVH in France. For products aimed at minors, no data is transferred outside the European Union.
No child account is created without parental consent. Parents keep access to the account, control over it and the right to have it deleted.
We only collect the data the service needs to work. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Our apps use no false urgency and no hard-to-find cancellation. No feature is designed to keep users engaged against their interest.
Our apps are funded by clearly priced subscriptions or purchases. They carry no advertising and we do not sell data.
We keep the number of apps small so that we can maintain and improve them for years.
A tool that respects the person using it, and leaves them a little more capable than before.Founding principle, Auxeso Labs
Organisation
The studio funds its development with revenue from its apps, without outside investors. All product decisions are made in-house.
Staying independent lets us set our own priorities, based on what is useful to our users.
It also means keeping the catalogue small: each app has to pay for itself through subscriptions or purchases, without advertising or data exploitation.
Auxeso Labs is a French simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU) with share capital of €10,000, registered with the Créteil Trade and Companies Register under number 109 668 657.
Careers
The studio is a small team. We hire rarely and look for people who can follow a product from design through to operation.
Apps already in use, with real regulatory questions: protecting minors, health data, self-image. A small organisation where decisions are made with the people doing the work.
Judgement, especially when it comes to setting aside a feature that would raise usage at the user's expense. Clarity, in writing and in decisions.
No positions are currently advertised. Every unsolicited application is read and answered.
